Gujarat ATS seizes 100kg heroin from Pakistani boat off Porbandar coast, 9 arrested

The drug mafia set their own boat on fireAHMEDABAD: In a major operation, Gujarat anti-terrorism squad (ATS) and Indian Coast Guard on Tuesday night intercepted a Pakistani boat and seized around 100kg heroin.
However, the crew blew up the boat and also tried to destroy the drugs. The ATS managed to arrest nine persons from the boat.
Gujarat ATS officials managed to pull out four bags of heroin. ATS officials said that the boat was being brought to Porbandar ICG station.
The drug was to be delivered to two brothers in Porbandar for distribution across the nation, added the official.
