The Nyuntam Aay Yojana (NYAY), announced by Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Monday is “remonetisation” of the poorest in the country, party spokesman Naresh Raval said. “It will benefit 1.2 crore poorest people in Gujarat. While BJP waives off loans of the richest, Congress will provide money to the poorest,” he said, adding that the scheme has been planned in a meticulous manner after consulting economists and experts.

Giving money to the poorest will give a boost to their purchasing power and rejuvenate economy.
