40-year-old dies of swine flu in Surat, toll at five
tnn | Mar 28, 2019, 04:32 ISTSurat: A 40-year-old woman from Saiyedpura died of swine flu taking the total death toll to five this season in Surat city.
Four fresh cases of H1N1 infection, including a an eight-month-old child from Ora Bhagal area and three-year-old girl from Dindoli. The other two cases include a one -year-old boy from Mota Varachha and 60-year-old femal from Amroli.
With this, the total number of H1N1 cases has increased to 347 since January 1. On Wednesday, six persons were discharged from different hospitals as their health improved. There were 33 others under treatment at different hospitals of the city. The condition of 16 was stated to be stable whereas 10 were on ventilator support.
