Targeting to endorse Greek tourism technology startups to the international travel market, HAMAC, stands for a vibrant sector with 80 high-tech companies whose activities comprise development of added value mobile applications, and the provision of services for telecommunication providers, innovative communication, content and application services.
At ITB Berlin 2019, the below mentioned members of HAMAC had the chance to showcase their activities to Greek Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura:
In the event, Kountoura explained that the companies’ promotion to the overseas market should turn out to be a priority, as she presented the actions of the ministry for the promotion of digital services to the tourism sector.
In the last few years, HAMAC has been advertising for enterprises that provide services and solutions for the tourism sector based on mobile, Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud technologies, among others. Last year, many startups were awarded during the Futurism technology event, as recently HAMAC took part in the MWC Barcelona in Spain, the largest exhibition for the mobile industry in the world.
