A mother has revealed how she made her rusty old kettle look just as good as new within minutes using denture tablets.

Isabella, from South Australia, said her stove kettle was covered in years of grime and grease stains.

And so she tried deep cleaning the utensil with the $6 Polident after she discovered the simple method in Mums Who Clean Facebook group.

After soaking the kettle in warm water along with six denture tablets for 20 minutes, the stubborn stains completely stripped off without spending hours of scrubbing.

'Thank you Polident,' she said, along with the incredible transformation. 

'I soaked it for about 20 [minutes] with six Polident tablets and warm water - and the grease basically wiped straight off,' she said.

She said all the grease came off but she was left with some tough black marks.

'The black was a bit tough and had to use a sponge scourer for that,' Isabella said.  

'Not heaps of scrubbing, just the black I had to scrub a bit.'

After sharing her gleaming results, many were amazed by the transformation, with some even suggesting whether the woman just purchased a new kettle
