Two brothers beat up PSI

PUNE: A Police Sub-Inspector of Chakan police station was assaulted by two brothers for detaining their father for questioning in a case on Friday night. 

Based on the complaint from PSI Pramod Kathore, an FIR has been registered against Kallu Nagendra Dube (25) and Sonu Nagendra Dube (21), both residents of Ajmera Colony, Pimpri. Both of them have been arrested for assaulting the officer and obstructing him from discharging his official duty. 

According to police, the incident took place at around 11 pm. The duo went to the police station and asked PSI Kathore why he had summoned their father, as they are very ‘influential people’. They pushed Kathore on the floor and kicked him before being overpowered by other policemen.
