Khanna police arrests Nigerian woman with 696 grams of heroin
Shariq Majeed | TNN | Mar 25, 2019, 20:37 ISTLUDHIANA: Khanna police has arrested a Nigerian woman peddler after it recovered 696 grams of heroin in the form of pellets from inside a water filter cone near Alour.
The accused was identified as 27-year-old Joe Occo, presently residing at Dwarka in Delhi.
Police has booked the accused under sections 21/61/85 of NDPS act.
"During investigation, she has revealed that she took the consignment of heroin from Delhi and was going to supply it at a bus stand in Amritsar. The culprit is still being questioned and there is a possibility of major disclosures from her,” police said.
