Naresh Goyal (founder of Jet Airways) and wife Anita reportedly quit from the board of the airline. Jet Airways was set up by Naresh Goyal along with his wife 25 years ago in 1993. Lenders have continued to demand for his resignation before infusing more funds to the airline. The airline is saddled with more than $1 billion of debts. The airline in a notification said that it will get "immediate funding support of up to Rs 1,500 crore by lenders by way of issue of appropriate debt instrument against security of its assets."
