A man was allegedly hacked to death near Barton hill in the city late on Sunday night, in a suspected case of gang rivalry. The deceased has been identified as Anil (40). He was brought dead to the Medical College hospital around 11.15 p.m.
The Medical College police is on the lookout for the suspect, who is believed to be a history sheeter from a rival gang.
