Western Railway will run 198 special trains to clear summer vacation rush

Representative imageMUMBAI: To clear summer vacation rush, Western Railway plans 198 special summer services in April, May and June. WR chief spokesperson Ravinder Bhakar said seven specials will be operated to provide the services. Four trains will ply from Mumbai, two from Ahmedabad and one between Hyderabad-Jaipur.
09005/09006 Mumbai Central-New Delhi (bi-weekly) superfast AC special on 48 trips will leave Mumbai Central at 4pm on Sundays and Fridays, and arrive in New Delhi at 7.55am the next day. It will run from April 12-June 30.
09009/09010 Bandra Terminus-Mangalore Jn (weekly) special will operate 16 trips and halt at Borivli, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha and other stations in both directions. 09433/09434 Bandra Terminus-Gandhidham (weekly) superfast will operate 24 trips. 09023/09024 Bandra Terminus-Indore (weekly) superfast will make 24 trips, officials said.
Central Railway will run 32 weekly summer specials between CSMT-Kochuveli and Pune-Ernakulam.
