Sonia Gandhi's name missing from Congress's star campaigners' list for Odisha

Sonia Gandhi.BHUBANESWAR: Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) of Odisha on Monday released a list of 40 leaders who will campaign in the state during the upcoming elections. The star campaigners’ list included national leaders like Rahul Gandhi, Manmohan Singh, Priyanka Gandhi, Kamal Nath, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Sachin Pilot, Jyotiraditya Scindia and Bhupesh Baghel. However, Sonia Gandhi’s name is missing from the list.
The celebrity campaigners of Congress for the state include cricketer-turned politicians like Navjot Singh Sidhu and Mohd Azaharuddin and actor-turned politicians like Khoosboo, Nagma, Vijayshanti and Raj Babbar.
The state leaders included as star campaigners are Niranjan Patnaik, Narasingha Mishra, Bhakta Charan Das, Chirnajib Biswal, Pradip Majhi, Jayadev Jena, sarat Patnaik, Prasad Harichanan, Ganeswar Behera, Panchanan Kanungo, Sibananda Ray and Padmakar Guru.
Others who will engage in canvassing in the state are Jitendra Singh, Sharmistha Mukherjee, Susmita Dev, Aditya Sharma, Sheikh Mastan Vali, Anil Chaudhury, G Rudra Raju, R C Khuntia and others.
