A man showed his dental prowess albeit the fact that he was in an inebriated condition. The cops arrested him for biting two persons in Chhoti Gwaltoli area on Saturday. They had an argument after which the accused had allegedly demanded money for liquor.
Chhoti Gwaltoli police station in-charge DVS Nagar said a case under Sections 323, 326, 327, 294, 506 of IPC was registered against accused Ravi Lodhi of Patnipura area on the complaint of Lakhanlal Meena, a resident of Kesarbai Ka Bagicha area of the city. Meena in his complaint stated that his relative Rajkumar Chakrawarti works as an agent at Sarwate Bus Stand. He was busy with his duty when the accused asked for money to buy liquor.
Rajkumar refused to part with cash following which they had an argument. The accused later started thrashing him. The accused was so enraged that he bit off his ear. He also bit him on the hand. Locals of the area tried to free the victim from the accused’s clutches, but the accused held on to the victim for minutes!
During the incident, complainant Lakhanlal reached the spot for intervention when the accused also bit him on the hand. Later, people informed the police about the incident when the accused was nabbed. Victim Rajkumar is undergoing treatment in a city hospital. TI Nagar said that the criminal record of the accused is being obtained.
