Amidst accusations of dynastic politics in BJP in granting Lok Sabha tickets, son of leader of opposition in state assembly has taken back his claim as a ticket aspirant from Bundelkhand. Son of senior BJP leader and LoP Gopal Bhargava, Abhishek Bhargava has said that his name was sent as a ticket aspirant from Bundelkhand’s Damoh, Sagar and Khajuraho parliamentary seats.
“I am feeling guilty after statements given by Modi ji and Advani ji on dynastic politics. I do not stand anywhere when party is fighting a war at national level. I thank all party workers and seniors who recommended my name,” wrote Abhishek on his Facebook wall.
He also wrote that he do not want to contest elections with blot of dynastic politics on his forehead. Therefore he was withdrawing his name from the candidature so that some other dedicated party worker may contest from the said seat. Relatives of Jayant Malaiya, Gauri Shankar Bisen, Umakant Sharma and several others have been demanding ticket for Lok Sabha amidst opposition from within the party.
