Lisa Allen, Izaak Cainer and Simon Nock and in Terrible Tudors and Awful Egyptians by Birmingham Stage Company

Brought back to life by the Birmingham Stage Company, there promises to be plenty of decapitations, backstabbing and brain-eating - with a general sense of blood-curdling grossness and comedy that stays true to the popular Terry Deary novels.

From the horrible Henries to the end of evil Elizabeth, Terrible Tudors will follow the bloody reign and the torturous antics of the Tudors, and retell the legends - and the lies - about Henry the eighth's headless wives, Bloody Mary, a punch up with the pope, the Spanish Armada and more.
