CHENNAI: Two men were arrested for creating ruckus at actress Sri Reddy's residence in Valasaravakkam on Friday. They were booked for attacking the actress and were sent to Puzhal prison.

The actress called the city police control room at around 3.00am and said two men had barged into her house and have attacked her and her manager who also stays at the same apartment in Anbu Nagar. A police team rushed to the spot and found both the men drunk and abusive.

The men were identified as Subramani, a film financier, and his friend Gopi. The duo was produced before a magistrate court and remanded in Puzhal prison.

During questioning, Subramani told police that he had gone to her house after receiving an invitation from her. He claimed to be a friend of the actress. A few days ago, Sri Reddy had lodged another complaint against Subramani with the Hyderabad police.

In the past, Sri Reddy had accused many leading and directors in Kollywood and Tollywood of sexual harassment.
