27-year-old Mohammed Haris, a Tulu film director, died after his car hit a roadside tree at Moodukonaje in Moodbidri police station limits on Thursday night.
According to the police, Haris, a resident of Houdalu near Moodbidri, was shooting for his upcoming Tulu film Aatidonji Dina in Moodbidri.
On Thursday evening, he visited his house and then left in his car to meet the film producer in Shirtady. He reportedly rammed his car into the roadside tree.
