Since then the day is celebrated by gorging waffles. Of late, the day is celebrated in other countries with amazing deals and offers on the dish. Another ‘Waffle Day’ falls on August 24 celebrated in the United States as a tribute to the anniversary of the patenting of the first US waffle iron invented in New York. Be it March or August, the waffle certainly deserves to be celebrated.
