Corporator, relatives held for misbehaving with female cop
tnn | Mar 24, 2019, 04:32 ISTRajkot: Sofia Dal, a female BJP corporator from ward 2 of Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC), her husband and their two daughters were arrested for allegedly misbehaving with a woman police sub-inspector (PSI) and preventing her from doing her duty on Saturday.
According to police, there was a complaint lodged against Sofia, following which a woman PSI from a women’s police station had gone to Sofia’s house to record her statement.
“However, instead of co-operating with her, Sofia, her husband Javid and their two daughters allegedly misbehaved with her and prevented her from performing her duty. When the woman PSI alerted the control room, we swung into action and arrested Sofia and her family members,” said an official from Gandhigram police station.
