Rs 14 lakh cash stolen from house in Tirupur

K Senthil of Anna Nagar in 15 Velampalayam was a real estate broker and his wife Sathyasundari was working as a temporary computer operator at the collectorate in Tirupur, said a police officer.
When the couple went out for their respective works, an unidentified burglary gang hit their house. They decamped with Rs 14 lakh cash kept in the house after breaking open its front door. 15 Velampalayam police registered the case and investigations are on.
