'PM Narendra Modi' biopic credit row: Producer Sandip Ssingh issues clarification

Recently, Javed Akhtar took to Twitter to express his shock when he found his name under 'lyrics' on the poster of the film ‘PM Narendra Modi’. Soon after, lyricist Sameer Anjaan also voiced his surprise when he saw his name on the poster. Producer Sandip Ssingh has now issued a clarification on his social media account. He posted, ‘We have taken the songs 'Ishwar Allah' from the film '1947:Earth' and the song 'Suno Gaur Se Duniya Walon' from the film 'Dus' in our film, thus we have given the due credits to respective lyricists Javed Sahab and Sameer Ji.’
