A stage collapsed during Bharatiya Janta Party’s “Holi Milan” programme in Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal on Friday. A BJP leader and several party workers were injured during the incident.

According to ANI, BJP Kisan Morcha leader Avadhesh Yadav was among those who sustained injuries. The incident was caught on camera and, in the video, and it is seen that several party leaders are standing on the stage while a party leader can be heard making a speech when, all of a sudden, the stage collapses.

After the stage collapsed, people were heard screaming. The injured were immediately rushed to the hospital, where they are being treated. Reports are saying that an inquiry has been ordered in the case and attempts are being made to find out the reason behind the collapse.
