Retired police, Excise, forest departments and defence personnel can extend their services during the elections in the State, according to City Police Commissioner Ch. Dwaraka Tirumala Rao.
As per the election authorities, services of the retired employees of excise, forest and police departments and Defence sector could be utilised during elections, and interested persons can contact Special Branch Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) R.V.S.N. Murthy, with necessary documents, including their ID card.
Honorarium will be paid to the Special Police Officers as per the rules, the Commissioner said in a press release.
