Hyderabad: Six-year-old girl found murdered with throat slit during Holi celebrations

HYDERABAD: A six-year-old girl was found murdered with her throat slit by unknown persons in Alwal police station limits on Thursday night. Hours before she was killed, the victim participated in Holi celebrations with other local children.


The local police shifted the body of the girl to Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem especially to know whether the girl was sexually abused before she was killed. Police during the investigation had taken two suspects in police custody. Both the suspects reside in the neighbourhood of the victim.


The victim who left her residence in the morning to play Holi did not return till afternoon on Thursday. The worried parents started to look for the girl, but she was not seen. Late on Thursday evening, they approached the police who registered a case and started to look for the girl. The victim was found in a pool of blood with her throat slit in bushes.
