A train driver who used social media to coerce young girls into sending him naked pictures of themselves has been jailed for at least seven years.
Sean David Walsh, 29, was sentenced in the Wagga Wagga District Court on Thursday after pleading guilty to 13 offences, including grooming and solicit child pornography as well as using a mobile phone to send indecent material.
Walsh contacted six young girls, aged between 12 to 17, on Facebook and Snapchat pretending to be a photographer to solicit a series of images of the girls.

In some cases, Walsh offered the victims money in exchange for sex.
Walsh had been living with his parents in Junee, near Wagga Wagga in NSW, when the offending began in June of 2015, court documents revealed.
He would contact the victims using either his real name or the alias Peter Jones.

Walsh told the victims he was a photographer and offered them $5000 to send nude images or $4000 for sex.
A 13-year-old girl, who began speaking with Walsh in 2016, was persuaded into send him nude images of herself.
She had also agreed to have sex with him for $3000. They planned to meet at Southcity Shopping Centre at Glenfield Park but Walsh never showed up.

One of the victims felt told the court she felt 'creeped out', awkward and disgusted by the explicit messages she received from Walsh.
When another one of the girls told Walsh to go away, he sent her a picture of an erect penis.
Walsh was sentenced to seven years and six months behind bars on Thursday.
