Noida: Woman jumps before metro train, blue line services affected

Blue Line Metro. TOINOIDA: A woman committed suicide by jumping before a metro train at the Sector 16 metro station, leading to disruption of blue line metro services for some minutes.
Sheetal Shrivastava who was working with Just Dial online local search platform did not leave any suicide note.
She was taken to the Kailash Hospital in Sector 27 by an ambulance around 11:30am where she was diagnosed with major injuries and multiple fractures.
A resident of Sector 22, the woman was said to be upset for the past few months, police said even as they have not clarified the reason so far.
Gautam Budh Nagar SSP Vaibhav Krishna said that the woman has jumped before the metro train. “It seems that she was upset over some reasons. The exact reason will be identified,” he said.
