This year, Kerala Blog Express has writers from 21 countries

Twenty-six travel bloggers from across the globe began a fortnight’s trip across Kerala from here on Thursday.

The sixth edition of the ‘Kerala Blog Express’ (KBE) had its first halt at the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, where the prominent social media influencers from 21 countries took a round of India’s biggest contemporary art festival.

The journey enables visitors to write and post their experiences real-time as the luxury bus they are travelling in is equipped with modern connectivity solutions.

This time, the KBE has strong representation from the Latin American countries, while 16 of the 26 bloggers are women.

The KBE 6 shaped up after organisers shortlisted more than 7,000 entries that Kerala Tourism received from bloggers and writers from over 50 countries. The endeavour has Kerala Tourism’s latest global campaign ‘Human by Nature’ as title.

The bloggers in KBE 6, which will conclude its journey on April 5, include Alex Chacon of the U.S. and London-based Alex Outhwaite. During their Kerala trip, the bloggers will witness a multitude of tailored experiences, including adventure activities, responsible tourism initiatives, culture, classical art forms, cuisines and more.
