AMBALA: Social organisations including, Haryana Development Welfare Association (HUDA), Resident Welfare Association, Sector 4, HUDA, and Haryana Sarv Karamchari Sangh on Friday held a meeting in Naraingarh town to demanded prompt police action in solving the murder case of Naman Joshi.
“Many social groups have extended support to the family and demanded fast action to crack the murder case of Naman whose burnt body was found on February 13 along with his two-wheeler in the jungle near Sector 4 in Naraingarh,” The deceased’s father Dinesh Kumar Joshi said.
“Despite passing over one month, police have failed to arrest the unidentified accused behind my son’s murder. I suspect due to some political intervention the accused are being saved in this case. Today we have held a meeting and on Sunday we would meet Naraingarh MLA Nayab Singh Saini to demand quick action," Joshi said.
On being asked about the delay in cracking the murder case, Naraingarh deputy superintendent of police Amit Kumar Bhatia said, “We have recovered evidence from the crime scene. The case is still clueless, we are trying our best to solve the case and put the culprits behind bars. Hopefully, we would reach a conclusion in the coming days.”
