A car drove into a crowd in Hubei province in central China killing six people and injuring seven others, state broadcaster CCTV reported on Friday.
According to CNN, the injured were shifted to the hospital after the incident was reported around 6 a.m. on Friday in Zaoyang city.
The car driver was shot dead by the police, who dubbed it a "malicious car incident".
