Shocking moment AFL fans brawl at the MCG on the first day of the season with one KNOCKED OUT - before a 19-year-old man is arrested

A thuggish Richmond Tigers fan knocked out a Carlton Blues follower with a vicious right hook before delivering another four brutal blows as he laid on the ground during a violent brawl at the MCG on Thursday.
Up to six spectators clashed on the final siren at 10:30pm after the first AFL game of the season at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
More than 30 people watched on in the Great Southern Stand in shock as dads were seen fleeing with their children to safety.
AFL Boss Gillon McLachlan expressed his intent on taking action on those involved in brawl and said 'We have provisions to ban individuals like that from the football'.
'It's totally unacceptable behaviour and people need to be held accountable. Every single person (should) feel safe at the football,' McLachlan said.
'That individual or individuals are unlikely to be able to go to the football for a while.'
Police have confirmed a 19-year-old man was arrested and fined $322 as a result of the violent clash.
'The Eltham man received an infringement notice in regards to riotous behaviour $322,' a spokesperson from Victoria Police said
'The victim's did not wish to proceed with further police action.'
The fight broke out after the Tigers defeated the Blues by 33 point at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
The 19-year-old is believed to be a Richmond supporter but the club said it could not comment.
Some fans criticised the lack of police on the scene during the fight.
'They'll drown football supporters in security, arm them with an eviction quota to scan relentlessly for the most petty infringements, and yet when they're actually needed there's apparently not a single one within 100 miles at AFL games,' one man said online.

'The safety and security of patrons is paramount for the MCC and the actions of this individual were totally unacceptable.
'This type of behaviour is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated at the MCG.
'We want all patrons to feel safe coming to a game of footy. Our security team will work closely with Victoria Police to quickly apprehend anyone who engages in anti-social behaviour and they will be appropriately dealt with.'
The brawl on Thursday comes after fan violence marred several AFL games in 2018 but the leagues boss Gillon McLachlan said it was just an 'aberration'.
A fight broke out in May last year at Etihad Stadium between Collingwood and Western Bulldogs fans.
A man was glassed during the Geelong and Carlton match at GMHBA Stadium a day earlier.
Up to 10 fans were also seen brawling at a Collingwood and St Kilda game.
