At the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc for delivery in current month moved up by 75 paise, or 0.38 per cent, at Rs 198.15 per kg, with a business turnover of 5,578 lots.
Marketmen said, widening of bets by participants following improved demand from the spot market mainly influenced zinc prices here.
