Registrations are invited for The Hindu Young World painting contest 2019 powered by Thyrocare to be held on March 24 at Periyar University here.
Budding artists from Standard 4 to 9 studying in schools in Salem, Namakkal, Erode, Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri districts can register for the event.
The competition will be held under two categories: junior category-Class 4,5 and 6 and senior category: Class- 7,8 and 9. Interested students can register their name over phone or through email. Candidates can also register at the contest venue. Spot registration will begin at 9 a.m. and the competition would begin by 10 a.m.
Contestants should carry their school identity cards or a letter from the Principal. The topic for the contest will be announced at the venue. Contestants will have not claim over completed paintings. Drawing sheets will be provided at the venue but students are required to bring their own drawing stationeries. Participants will not be allowed to use sketch pens.
