Police constable stabbed by 3 men in Delhi

NEW DELHI: A Delhi Police constable was stabbed by three men for protesting against throwing water balloons during Holi celebrations at Rajouri Garden on Thursday. The three men have been arrested from the scene.


The cop, sub inspector Amit Kumar, posted with the Nihal Vihar police station was off duty and was heading to someone's house when the youths threw balloons at him. When he resisted, the accused stabbed him.


Police say that a case of attempt to murder has been registered against them and they were caught from the area. The SI, has been admitted to a hospital where he is said to be out of danger.
