Girl abducted while asleep, raped in Delhi

Representative imageGREATER NOIDA: Two men have been booked for allegedly abducting a 16-year-old girl from her village in Dankaur and raping her multiple times on Wednesday. The accused have been identified as Vicky and Bhola, both from the village where the girl lives.
Police said the duo abducted the girl from her house and put her in a car around 2 am on Wednesday. They took her to Delhi where they raped her multiple times before dropping her back home. Both have been absconding since. The girl is a Class XII student, police said.
Later in the day, the girl went to the local police station, along with her parents, and filed a complaint against Vicky and Bhola. “The girl informed us that the accused made her unconscious after giving her anaesthesia while she was sleeping in her house. They then took her to Narela area in Delhi where they kept her in a room and raped her multiple times. After she gained consciousness, she tried to resist the two men but she was beaten up,” said Samresh Kumar Singh, the SHO of Dankaur police station.
On the basis of the complaint, the two men have been booked under IPC sections 376 D (gang-rape), 363 (punishment for kidnapping), 328 (causing hurt by means of poison), 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation), along with sections 3 and 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. “The accused are absconding. We are questioning their family members to know their whereabouts. They will be arrested soon,” the SHO added.
