Klopp on Mane Form

Jurgen Klopp has addressed Sadio Mane’s scintillating form for Liverpool.

The striker has bagged 11 goals in 11 games as the Reds moved top of the Premier League table with victory over Fulham at the weekend.

While praising the forward, Klopp also admitted Mohamed Salah can learn from Mane’s recent success.

“He is in a really good moment, of course,” Klopp told the club’s official website.

“Sadio played pretty much always like this but now he is always in the right spot in the right moment. In football it’s sometimes like this.

“The only thing he did when he was not always in the right spot was work and work and work.

“That’s exactly what Mo has to do, exactly the same: just work, do the right things and it will come again.

“He’s just rather unlucky, where Sadio is lucky in the moment – he is in brilliant shape, that’s true.

“But then, he is in the right shape and maybe a yard away from him is Mo, but somebody else scored; the cross from Robbo [at Fulham], I’m pretty sure Mo would have scored if Gini doesn’t get the ball.

“These moments… I was a striker, I had that as well, you think, ‘Oh’ and then somebody else missed the chance. That’s how it is, all good.

“But, of course, it’s a brilliant moment for him [Mane].”

Gross addresses Liverpool rumours

PASCAL GROSS SPEAKS OUT ON LIVERPOOL RUMOURS.

Did I get your attention? Good. Because he hasn’t really said a lot.

In fact, when asked about the rumours by Goal, he seemed fairly surprised.

“Of course it is an honour when such rumours arise,” admitted Gross, speaking to Goal.

“But I have not heard anything concrete.”

Gross scored seven goals last season but has struggled for consistency this term due to various injuries.

Guardiola 'furious' with Man City's fixtures

This is an interesting report in the Daily Mirror.

They claim that Pep Guardiola is “furious” with the Premier League after Man City’s clash with Cardiff was schedule for less than 72 hours before their FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.

And they also say that he fears it could hand Liverpool a title advantage.

Torres' title message for Liverpool

And here’s the birthday boy himself, saying he’ll be cheering Liverpool on this season.

All is forgiven, Fernando.

Sadio Mane's reaction to Koulibaly being urged to join United

This is what Sadio Mane thinks of Kalidou Koulibaly potentially moving to Manchester United.

It’s a big, fat no.

In fact, having seen him in the two games against Napoli, he looks like one hell of a defender. So I agree with Mane.

Fernando Torres turns 35 today. THIRTY FIVE. Bloody hell.

He was good, wasn’t he?

Liverpool linked with Dybala

Paulo Dybala then.

Could he become 2019’s Marco Reus? Or the Thomas Lemar for the modern man?

There certainly seems to be a big spike of interest when his name is mentioned.

And his name was mentioned last night in a link with Liverpool.

But I wouldn’t recommend holding your breath, I’d probably get in a lot of trouble in here if you did.

That’s because the rumour originates from our friends at TuttoSport, who cite Inside Futbol, claiming the Reds are preparing a move ahead of the summer transfer window as they look to steal a march on the competition.

That’s the equivalent of hearing your mum’s mate’s brother’s girlfriend’s uncle’s dog.

Saying that, the Reds will need a quality forward this summer..
