Noida: A BTech student, who went missing on Saturday, has not been traced so far. He withdrew some cash from an ATM in Majnu Ka Tilla, Delhi, and boarded a bus to Himachal Pradesh, police said. His family has accused police of inaction.

The third-year student of Amity University, Himanshu Pandey (21), was staying in a paying guest facility in Sector 37. He left the PG around 3.30pm on Saturday. Since then, his phone is unreachable.

In a tweet on Monday, Himanshu’s brother said, “His last ATM transaction was recorded at Majnu Ka Tilla, Delhi, around 6pm. We have no clue after that.” A missing person’s report has been filed at Sector 39 police station. “He booked a cab to Delhi and got off at Majnu Ka Tilla. He then boarded a bus to Himachal Pradesh. It is possible that he has gone for a vacation,” Sector 39 SHO Prashant Kapil said. TNN
