“I stopped my van and shouted at them for coming in my way. One of the men came to me and suddenly threw chilli powder in my eyes. The other man and one more person joined him, and they pulled me out of the van and started thrashing me,” said Sudhir. He also said two of the accused fled on the bike towards Sohna road, while the third took his van and drove it towards the main gate of Nirvana Country.
Sudhir said that he requested for help, but no one came forward.
“Later, I found my van parked in front of the main gate of the society. Inside, all the courier packets were intact, except a bag which I had kept in the storage box. The bag had Rs 42,000 in cash,” he added.
Sudhir then informed police and filed a complaint, after which an FIR was registered against the accused under Section 379 (snatching) of the IPC at Sector 50 police station.
