Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter tease third \'Bill and Ted\'

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) 30 years after the original "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure", which followed two scatterbrained teenagers as they travel through time to create the ultimate history report, the franchise's stars Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter have announced a third film.

While strongly rumored for a while, the pair recorded a video at the Hollywood Bowl teasing a new movie, and saying it will be called "Bill & Ted Face the Music".

The original 1989 film featured historical characters such as Napoleon, Joan of Arc, Beethoven and Socrates, the while the sequel "Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey" saw the pair try and beat death.

The new film is set to film this summer with "Galaxy Quest" director Dean Parisot at the helm.

The film is slated for release on August 21, 2020 in the US.
