Woman, lover held for husband's murder in Tirupur

TIRUPUR: A 29-year-old woman and her paramour were arrested for murdering her husband in a quarrel here on Tuesday.
K Rajini and his wife Selvi were staying along with their three children. Rajini was working as an electrician and Selvi was working in a knitwear unit. It seemed that she has developed a relationship with Veeramani, a co-worker, said a police officer.
After knowing about the relationship, the 40-year-old husband warned Selvi about it. On Monday night, when he returned home, Rajini found Veeramani along with Sevi there.
As per the report, Rajini tried to stab Veeramani but he failed, and Veeramani and Selvi stabbed him. The injured was rushed to Tirupur government hospital where he was declared brought dead. Tirupur north police registered the case and arrested Selvi and Veeramani.
