As Inshallah -- Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next starring actors Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt -- is confirmed, Twitter was quick to react. While some called it ‘blockbuster of the year’, others gave throwback photos an airing.
bollywood Updated: Mar 19, 2019 15:53 ISTActors Alia Bhatt and Salman Khan are all set to come together for the first time in the next Sanjay Leela Bhansali film, Inshallah. Salman had last worked with Sanjay in the 1999 blockbuster Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, also featuring Aishwarya Rai and Ajay Devgn. While the fans are still speculating over the story of the film and the 30-year age gap between the lead actors, the internet can’t stop gushing about the new pairing.
After an official announcement by Salman and Alia, Twitter users flooded the social networking site with throwback pictures of Salman, Alia and Sanjay, giving us a major dose of nostalgia. A fan shared a throwback picture of Salman and Alia and captioned it, “Who would’ve thought they will work together as a lead pair. #Inshallah.”

Another user shared a throwback picture of Salman and Sanjay and wrote, “Sanjay Leela Bhansali made one of the biggest budgeted grand films like #BajiraoMastani & #Padmaavat with actor like RanveerSingh then imagine what will he do with THE SALMAN KHAN. It is guaranteed 2020s biggest movie. You simply can’t question SLB’s potential. #Inshallah.”
