NEW DELHI: The first year Pre-University College (PUC) results of Bengaluru south has declared today, i.e., March 19, 2019, on its official website. The candidates who have appeared for the 1st PUC exams can visit the official website of college- result.bspucpa.com- to check and download their result.

A total of 56,250 students have appeared for the first year PUC exam this year. 50,694 students have passed in the examination said Jagajeevandas Bhandary, deputy director of PU board, Bengaluru south.
Candidates are required to enter their roll number and date of birth to get their result. Candidates can check the results from the direct link provided below.

Pass percentage

The pass percentage of students per stream is given below

  • The overall pass percentage- 90.12%
  • Arts stream - 83.40%
  • Commerce stream - 88.46%
  • Science stream - 94.18%

How to download 1st year PUC result?

The students can follow the step-by-step guide given below to check and download their result online from the official website:

1. Go to the official website- result.bspucpa.com

2. On the homepage, click on the link which says “First year PUC result”

3. It will direct to a login based page, where you need to enter your roll number and date of birth

4. Your first year PUC result will be displayed on the screen


5. It is advised to take the print out of the result to use for the further requirements



PUC Supplementary exam


The candidates who have failed for the first year PUC exam can appear for the supplementary exam which is to be conducted from 28 April and 10 May in the 10 centers of the district. The supplementary results would be declared on May 15, 2019. Hence, students who pass the examination would be able to enroll in second year PUC classes.
