‘Never-give-up attitude is the key to success’

8th Future India Club guest lecture series held

“Consistent efforts and a never-give-up attitude are the key to success,” said Sivakumar Palaniappan, founder-director of ThinkFluence Global, at the 8th Future India Club guest lecture series organised by The Hindu and KPR IAS Academy at the Kongunadu Arts and Science College in the city.

The objective of the “Future India Club” initiative is to make students from Coimbatore region emerge successful in UPSC examinations.

Sharing his experience, Mr. Palaniappan said he once made several attempts through email to meet former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, his idol. Finally he was invited for a 15-minute meeting with him. Mr. Palaniappanr said that he was surprised at the humility and greatness of Kalam, who got up from his seat and received him.

He also shared the success story of an autorickshaw driver, who pursued his dream of becoming a pilot.

According to him, tireless efforts, analysis of news and a deep understanding of concepts alone can help students emerge successful in civil services examination.

He interacted with the students and cleared their doubts.
