Pune: PYC Warriors, Corner Pocket Shooters, Cue Masters A, Q Club Warriors and Khar Gymkhana started their campaign on winning note at the 13th PYC-ATC Snooker Challenge 2019 being simultaneously played at the PYC Hindu Gymkhana and Deccan Gymkhana Club tables.

In a Group H Match, Corner Pocket Shooters edged out Rack Em Up 2-1, Saad Sayyad of Corner Pocket Shooters recorded the highest break of the event so far potting 67 points scoring a 19-42, 74 (67)-37, 39-21, 69-16 win over Vishal Vaya. 
 
In Group A PYC Warriors ousted Q Club Killers 3-0 and the same group match Khar Gymkhana also made a winning start to their campaign edging past Cue Masters B 2-1.
In a Group E match Auto Pots outplayed Thane Tigers 3-0, while Q Club Warriors also registered an identical win over Thane Terminators 3-0.
