Pompeo: I'll be secretary of state until Trump 'tweets me out of office'

(ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION) U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo joked on Monday (March 18) that he will keep his job until U.S. President Donald Trump "tweets him out of office." The remarks came in the middle of a keynote address at a Global Enterpreneurship Summit (GES) in Overland Park, Kansas, where he discussed North Korea, economics and the perks of joining the U.S. State Department.

He said, "It is certainly hard work.

But I have a lot of people here in Kansas who remind me that serving in this administration is a good thing.

And I'm loving what I'm doing." Pompeo's predecessor, Rex Tillerson, found out he had lost his job from a tweet by Trump.
