The Southern Railway (SR) has announced two special fare special trains to clear extra rush of traffic during the summer holidays.

Due to introduction of train no 22657/22658 Tambaram – Nagercoil – Tambaram tri-weekly express, train number 06007 Chennai Central - Nagercoil special fare special train leaving Chennai Central at 7 pm on March 19 and train number 06008 Nagercoil - Chennai Central special fare special train leaving Nagercoil at 5 pm on March 20 would be cancelled, said another release issued by Southern Railway on Monday.
Train number 16191/16192 Tambaram – Nagercoil Junction – Tambaram Antyodaya express trains operating with 16 general class-II coaches will be permanently augmented with two additional general class-II coaches.
Train number 02197 will leave Coimbatore at 7.05 pm on April 8, 15, 22 and 29 and Mary 6, 13, 20 and 27 and June 3 and reach Jabalpur at 10,.20 am on Wednesdays. Train number 02193 will leave Tirunelveli at 4 pm on April 6, 13 and 20 and May 25 and June 1, 8, 15, 22 and 19 and reach Jabalpur at 11.15 am on Mondays. Advance reservation for the trains will open at 8 am on March 19, a release issued by SR said.
