Banned plastic products seized in Salem

SALEM: Salem Municipal Corporation officials on Monday imposed a fine of Rs 15,000 on two men who were found carrying banned plastic products like carry bags, teacups and plastic plates.
Two men, who are running grocery stores in Ammapet area in the city, were on the way to their stores on their two-wheelers. Ammapet zonal officials stopped them, seized the banned plastic products and imposed a fine.
