Ten burglary cases lodged in a day in city

Pune: Ten cases of house break-ins were lodged at different police stations in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad on Sunday.
 
In the first case, on Saturday night, Rs 20,000 was stolen from the donation box of Sai Baba temple in Sambhaji Nagar area of Chinchwad. 

In another case, a medical shop in Nigdi was targeted by burglars and a laptop and some medicines worth Rs 49,000 was stolen from the shop.

Similarly, unidentified burglars stole material worth Rs 2.47 lakh from a workshop in Chakan. Unidentified burglars stole ornaments and material worth Rs 42,000 from the house of one Madhukar More in Mohan Nagar on Friday night.

A case of burglary was lodged on Sunday after a laptop was stolen from the hostel room of a student at KIAMS in Talegaon Dabhade.

In another case lodged at Dehu Road police station, one Sachin Jadhav lost gold ornaments and cash after unidentified robbers targeted his home and his uncle’s home in Rajaram Nagar area of Kiwale on Friday night.

In another incident, unidentified burglars stole ornaments worth Rs 6.52 lakh from a flat located in Apoorvgad Apartment in Mulshi.

A case of burglary was lodged by Hinjawadi police station against an unidentified person.
 
A case of burglary was lodged at Bharti Vidyapeeth police station after unidentified burglars stole cash and ornaments worth Rs 3.59 lakh at Suman Sankalp Society in Ambegaon Budruk.
