Man booked for drunken driving after accident
tnn | Mar 19, 2019, 04:55 ISTVadodara: Two men were booked under prohibition Act in the city after the car they were travelling in met with an accident near Ambedkar Circle near R C Dutt Road. Akash Vaghela, who was driving the car, was found to be in an inebriated condition, said cops.
The police said that Vaghela lost control of his car after one of its tyres burst. The vehicle jumped onto the divider, but no one was injured in the incident. The FIR says that Vaghela and his friend Atishay Jatiya didn’t seem in their senses and were in an inebriated state. When cops asked for liquor permit, they couldn’t produce any, following which the duo was were taken to Gotri police station. tnn
