Latest reports suggest that the makers of the film are planning a sequel and have already started working on the script.
Going by the reports in Mumbai Mirror. producer Ramesh Taurani has confirmed that a sequel to Ishq Vishk is underway as he said, “Yes, we are making a sequel to Ishq Vishk. The story is in the scripting stage and could be about a teenage romance. Hopefully, in the next two-three months, we will lock the script and start looking for the director and cast.” The film was Shahid Kapoor’s debut film and earned him all the recognition. Infact, fans loved Shahid and Amrita Rao’s chemistry in the film and the duo went on to work in a number of films like Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi!, Shikhar and Vivah. Vivaah being another superhit film people love till date.
