The AIADMK released the list of all 40 constituencies which will be contested by the party and its allies on Sunday.

Chennai:
In the city, the party had retained just the South Chennai constituency and gave away North Chennai to the DMDK and Central Chennai to the PMK. In the remaining three constituencies in Chennai sub-urban areas such as Kancheepuram, Sriperumbudur and Tiruvallur, AIADMK had retained Kancheepuram and Tiruvallur while Sriperumbudur was given to the PMK.
In the AIADMK alliance, AIADMK will contest in 20 seats, PMK will contest in seven seats, BJP will contest in five, DMDK in four and the remaining four seats will be shared by Puthiya Tamilagam, Puthiya Needhi Katchi, Tamil Manila Congress and NR Congress.
Apart from the Chennai and its surrounding areas, AIADMK will contest in Salem, Namakkal, Krishnagiri, Erode, Karur, Tirupur, Pollachi, Arani, Tiruvannamalai, Chidambaram, Perambalur, Theni, Madurai, The Nilgiris, Tirunelveli, Nagapattinam and Mayiladuthurai.
Apart from Central Chennai and Sriperumbudur, PMK will contest from Dharmapuri, Villupuram, Arakkonam, Cuddalore and Dindigul.
