Actor Sara Ali Khan, who was recently spotted on the streets of Delhi riding a bike with Kartik Aaryan, while shooting for their film Love Aaj Kal 2, was trolled for not wearing a helmet. Twitter users asked Sara to wear a helmet and told her that riders are supposed to wear helmets even when riding pillion.

However, Sara also had fans defending her. “To all the brainless, jobless idiots who are ‘trolling’ @sarajanhvi for this video: 1) its a movie set and you have spl permissions, road rules dont apply. 2) in this video she is NOT “riding”, but is just sitting on a bike (u dont need helmet to sit on bike). 3) helmets for both riders are not enforced in every state. So... go get either a job or some brains,” one fan wrote.

Kartik, who wore a helmet, was riding the bike and Sara was sitting behind him, without a helmet. Sara was wearing a beige overcoat and Kartik was wearing a blue shirt. In the video that went viral over the weekend, the stars can be seen talking to someone - not visible in the frame.

While Kartik was last seen in Luka Chuppi, which has proved to be a box office hit, Sara made her Bollywood debut opposite Sushant Singh Rajput with Kedarnath and was last seen alongside Ranveer Singh in the blockbuster Simbaa. Apart from Love Aaj Kal 2, Kartik will also be working on the remake of Pati Patni Aur Woh alongside Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar.

Talking about Love Aaj Kal 2, Kartik had said, “He (director Imtiaz Ali) is one of my favourite filmmakers and I have always wanted to work with him. I am glad it’s finally happening.”

Directed by Imtiaz, Love Aaj Kal 2 is a sequel to the 2009 hit film that starred Sara’s father Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor.
